Little Allisynn is three weeks old today! SO hard to believe!!!! Time is FLYING! We are soaking everything up. We can tell she is changing and growing! She weighs about 8 1/2 pounds already!!!! She had some issues with powdered formula and so we are back on the good stuff. (We figured it out, it was only a couple cents cheaper anyways- and way more work- so we're not complaining!) Since we've switched back to the good stuff, she's been a totally different baby! Amazing how a small change (it was the same formula- just powdered!) can make a huge difference. She isn't as fussy, her tummy is better, and her rash is gone! Yay baby! She still loves her food! She's sleeping well- still in her crib! (Yay!) and usually only up once or twice. The 11-1 or 2 time is the worst. That is her fussy- fight sleep time. (Any suggestions for helping US win the fighting sleep battle- I'm sure this is only the tip of it- and we've got more of a battle to fight- especially since she's only three weeks old.)
We noticed that she is filling out more- her legs are starting to get chubbier, and her little cheeks and double chin are too cute. Her eyes are also lightening up a little.... maybe they'll be blue? Kind of looks that way now- although my baby books say that they can change up till 6 months for sure, and keep refining in color through 1 year! Gotta keep us wondering! :)
She loves her baths. We tried our first non-sponge bath this weekend in the sink. She loved it! :) I was nervous that she'd be too slippery, but we loaded the sink with soft towels, and just held on to her. :) I don't know what I'd do with out daddy's help! It is so nice to have him here helping and bonding with her. Pray for us and him.... he goes back to work later this week. We're trying not to think about it, but it will be another adjustment. We are sad, but also realize how blessed we are to have had him home this long. I wish we could keep living in this dream world we've been in the last three weeks. It's been a little bit of heaven! :) We're thanking our Heavenly Father for this blessing of time together among all the other blessings we've been given these last three weeks. :)
Enjoy the pictures! :)

Wow, she's already 3 wks. that's hard to believe! She is so precious. You guys are doing such a wonderful job! We will be praying! It will be an adjustment not having Ryan there, but D you will do great! You are a wonderful mommy. (Ry your a wonderful daddy too!)
wow she really is growing like a weed! so much more personality in her face than her one day old pic! Oh by the way, i have that same pink sleeper gown that she has on in her 3 wk pic...don't you just love those things? They seem like they'll be so perfect for late night diaper changes, etc :)
Hey guys...She is getting so big. Wow how time flies. Well just a couple things...I had that problem with Zoe when she was very little..the fighting sleep nights. What I would do was sit in a rocking chair...take a warm wash cloth and lay it on the back of her neck. I would then rub her back. It seemed to work at times. You might want to try it and see what happens. Also...Danielle you will do a great job!!
We are dealing with the wide awake for a couple hours at night. Sounds similar to what you are dealing with. We tried to keep Olivia up for a couple of hours in the evening. It helped. We haven't pushed too much with Reid yet. I'm sure we will soon. :))
Love ya,
Tiff
