Fair Time!

Last week we got to go to the fair and enjoy the animals and a beautiful fall day! :)  It was fun and the kids liked it!

We went in the afternoon with Nana and Papa and then Daddy came after work to join us! :)  

We watched some Horse Judging/Shows and walked through the animal barns and the 4-H barns. :) IT was fun to look at everything! :) Especially since momma used to be in 4-H. :) 

Fair Time!

We were able to go to the fair again this year! :) A fun tradition that we have enjoyed as a family since Allie was just a few weeks old. :)  Allie enjoyed it and kept talking about it all week! :) Every time we drive by the fairgrounds she asks if it is time yet. :) She finally got to go! :) 

 Her favorite animal this year was the pigs :) We went through their barn at least twice!! :)

 She enjoyed some time with Auntie D! :)

 Then we went through the sheep barn.. these were her favorite last year. :)

 She wanted to ride these motorcycles... Poor thing... they went way faster than she thought they would... she was fine- but the first several times around she had this sheer look of PANIC on her face... it broke my heart. She eventually relaxed and had fun, but my momma heart just broke because she was scared to death... Check out the pictures... Daddy strapping her in.... She's all smiles!

 Uh.... what was I thinking?? Her eyes were huge and she hung on for dear life....

 Maybe it isn't sooo bad... but I'm not really ready to smile yet....

 We rode the pony too! :) This was a little more calm. :) She liked this too! Her horse's name was Lucky! :)

We had a great time at the fair again this year! I can't believe another year is over. Great family memories for sure! :)

Fair Time!

Last weekend we went to the fair. :) It is a yearly tradition that we take Allie- and we have gone since she was just about a month old. ;) We always went when I was little, and it is fun to take her and see the animals. she LOVED the goats this year.  We went with Nana, Papa and Uncle J. Auntie D had to work. :( We missed her. 

 She DID NOT like the cows. She put the breaks on and didn't want to go any farther than a few steps in the barn.

 She LOVED watching the big kids ride rides. She was a little chicken and didn't want to ride anything- so we just walked around and let her take it all in, and watch the big kids. :)

 This was the grand champion (and only) pumpkin this year.  I have taken her picture beside them each year- kind of wimpy one this year. Must not have been a good year for big pumpkins. :)

 She loved being able to walk beside Nana and look at all of the animals. She liked it when Papa and Uncle J put her on their shoulders and she could see all over too! :)  She is such a fun age to do stuff like this with....her reactions and comments are so much fun! :)
