Christmas Day- Afternoon/Evening

On Christmas Day afternoon, we hosted my family.  It was fun to have everyone here.  We exchanged gifts, visited and ate dinner.  We had stuffed shells and salad and desserts. :) It was fun to watch the kids play with their new toys.

Allie got Papa and Nana gifts at school... :)

Taking a turn at sissy's microphone :)

sisters! :) <3

Christmas Day- Morning

Christmas morning, we usually wake up and go downstairs together.  As a little girl, that was always an anticipated time... seeing the tree was magical.  Our presents were always wrapped with special paper... for each of us. :) I've tried to carry on that same idea.  Allie had Frozen paper this year, and Brady had Dusty Crophopper. :)

Allie was all into opening her gifts. She just couldn't wait to see what was with each one.  Brady, was the opposite... he wanted to play with each gift and didn't want to open the next one. :) Silly kids. :)

It is so much fun to see them opening their gifts and experiencing excitement and joy. :)  Brady's Christmas can be summed up with the word "wheels"- almost everything had wheels... :) Allie's could be either Frozen or creative.... everything was something she could make or do and or Frozen themed... ;)

Gracie puppy LOVES opening gifts... but she is also very smart.  She knows if you wrap an old toy.... and doesn't appreciate that as much... :) She is like the kids... she loves opening new toys too! :)  She tears the paper off on her own and gets to her present.

Christmas Eve 2014

Christmas Eve 2014 was full of fun and tradition. :) We started by attending Church together. This is one of my favorites because the kids join us in the big room, and we sing and learn and have a candlelit song together.  We usually pack snacks and quiet things for them to do because we go over the lunch service... this year, they were amazing... they listened, and were quiet and it was easy to tell they were all a year older. :)  Braedan fell asleep :) It was sweet to hold him and think about how Mary felt holding baby Jesus! :) Christmas always gets me thinking like that- as I snuggle my own blessings. :)
After church, we went to Gramps and Gram's house and met up with cousins and aunts and uncles.  The girl cousins weren't feeling well, but we did get a picture of the boys and Allie in their jammies from Grammie. :)

Thank you for the gifts, and the fun and the memories we made!: )
