Yumm!!!!!
This little girl loves spaghetti! :) She is so messy by the time she is done eating it. :) And lately, she's decided sometimes it is better just to lick food off of your plate instead of using a fork or spoon. *We are not encouraging this method- even though it is pretty funny! :)
Silly little girl! :)

Cookie Day!
We had cookie day on Saturday! Dad, Mom, Sis, Allie and I all baked/made cookies all day. Mom started making dough around 8 and I think we left around 6. We made cut-outs with decorations, town house/peanut butter dipped in chocolate and decorated like snowflakes, buckeyes, rice crispy treats with Christmas M and M's, pretzels dipped in chocolate, and Peanut Butter Hershey Kiss cookies! Yum-o! :) We were talking and realized we didn't do cookies last year. :( Not sure why- other than it is always such a busy time and lots of work. It is so much fun to spend the day together though! It is fun to make memories and a cool tradition to have! I want Allie to be able to remember fun times like this. We had made cut-outs a couple weekends ago with Grammie (yeah those are long gone- so yummy!) and decided to do the whole nine yards with Nana! Nana was very ambitious! I was impressed with how much we got done!! Little Allie girl was pretty miserable as she was working on an eye tooth. Everytime her mouth got bumped or she touched it in anyway- she cried. :( She enjoyed watching us though and loved playing too! :)

Spaghetti!!!!

Tonight we had spaghetti for supper. Allie liked the little bite that I let her have and pointed for more. I put a little on her tray and kept feeding her small bites off my fork. She LOVED it!!! :) It was pretty cute! She ended up very messy. Blogger isn't letting me arrange my pictures in the right order, but the last one was one of the first I took. I think they are actually in backwards order. Sorry. She got messier and messier- even putting her hands up over her face. She had spaghetti in her hair and eyebrows. :) Silly girl! She got a bath immediately after supper tonight! :) She acted upset when the spaghetti was all gone! We may have found a favorite food! :) Big girl! :)

Bring on the Food!!
Since Allie's last appointment (six month well check, a couple weeks ago), she is allowed to try more foods. We were just doing cereal and green beans and peas. The pediatrician wanted us to stick to the green vegetables for a couple months. When we went back, she gave us the clear to try more fruits and vegetables. Allie loves them for the most part. I think we've worked through all of the stage one options. Her favorites are still the green veggies, but she also loves squash and all the fruits. She DOES NOT like carrots! Silly girl. We've tried them a couple times and they just aren't a good match. Maybe in a few months. She's had pears, bananas, applesauce, peaches, squash, sweet potatoes, and the carrots- in addition to peas and green beans. We can move on to the stage twos when we see that she's ready. We'll probably stick to the stage ones a little bit yet. I think she could handle the next stage- but why rush it? :)
She is a little miss piggy. She LOVES LOVES LOVES to eat!!! She eats two tablespoons (mixed with two ounces of milk) each morning and then has either a fruit or veggie for lunch and the other for supper.... in addition to her morning bottle at six, another one around 9, 11, 2, 5 and 8.
Last weight check was 18 pounds!!! :) She's tall (27.5 inches) and thin!!! :)
