Thankful for Family!

We've had a great weekend celebrating Thanksgiving with our families! We are so blessed!!! Allie girl has been enjoying the attention, food, and exploration of different territories! She is so cute to watch when we go someplace new. It takes her less and less time to warm up to the environment and she's off and running! Once she is comfortable, look out! She'll be into everything! :) She is a busy busy little girl!
We were blessed to be able to spend time with almost all of our family this past week. Here are some pictures to share. They are in order from most recent to the earlier get together in November.

Allie playing with the kitchen set at our get together today. She had a blast!
These three are too cute! We probably won't get a good picture where they are all looking for at least another couple years.... we'll take what we can get though.... this one isn't too bad! :)

Our little Toddler!

Allie girl is fifteen months old!!! She is such a little toddler now! :) She is so active and into exploring all kinds of things. She can climb on the couch all by herself now and loves to sit up there with us. She still loves her baths and splashes and makes a grand old party out of each bath. She tries to drink the water coming out of the faucet, and doesn't mind when water gets on her face when we wash her hair. Her hair comes down to her shoulders and a little past now when it is really wet, and then springs up into tight curls when it is drying. :)
Here are the words she can say....we counted at least 40.
Allie, Keldan, Alex, Papa, Ya-Ya (nana) Dada, Day, Bob, Gracie (she's said it twice now!) Big Bird, Bert, Elmo, Cookie, Pooh, ouchie, hot, Hot dog (she also sings this song... kinda... hot dog over in a singy song voice), boom, beep-beep, burr!, goat, uh-oh!, baba- ba(bath), go, cool, cute, good girl, bubbles, pop-pop-pop!, squirrel, ball, peew!, football, pumpkin, fish, boo, Jesus (ah-she) and maybe others that we didn't think of.
She knows the following sign language signs... Eat, more, please, done, and we're learning thank you.
She says the sounds for animals like monkeys, dogs, cows, ducks, horses and we are learning the kitty.
She is growing out of 12 month clothes and wears size six shoes and size four diapers and mostly 18 month clothes.
She is doing better sleeping through the night! :) Whoo-hoo!
She had the H1N1 vaccine (part one) and didn't have any reactions to it. Because mommy is exposed to it so much we thought it was a good idea.
She has her 15 month check up at the end of the month. We think she weighs about 25 pounds.
She likes to jump (with our help) and thinks it is funny when WE jump.
She loves to eat our food. She had a soft taco the other day and loved it. She also loves ravioli and spaghetti and mac and cheese and beef hot dogs. She LOVES green beans (kinda cool cause that was her first baby food veggie and she still seems to favor it!) She eats peas and tomatoes and cucumbers. Loves cheese and oranges. She wants to eat what we are eating- even if she likes the food on her tray.
She loves to play with Gracie and will try to tackle her. She likes to try to give her kisses too.
She tells us when she wants to go to bed. She'll either say ba-ba, or grab our fingers and lead us upstairs. :)
She is pretty smart! (Of course we will say that, she's our daughter... but we believe it!:) )
She seems to be growing by leaps and bounds! It is amazing! I feel like it is way too fast!!!! Somebody hit the slow motion button please!!!! :)

Allie's Animal Book

Allie loves books and usually brings us several to read to her every evening. One particular book has several different animals in it so we started working with her to make the animal sounds. It took a while at first but now she has them all down pat. We think its pretty impressive! Enjoy the video...
