An Open House for Allie!

On Saturday, mommy's family threw you a shower. It was a huge party! They did an Open House where people could come and go anytime they wanted. It was a lot of fun to see friends whom we haven't seen in a LONG time and family that we dont' get to see much either. Of course it was awesome to see close friends as well! We appreciated everyone who came! Allie got a lot of very nice things! Thank you very much for your kindness and your generosity! Allie is blessed- as are we!

Decorations- The shower was held at mom and dad's house, so the decorations were mixed in with some of Nana's beautiful fall things! :) The theme was pink and brown and polka dots.

The food was incredible! This cake was HUGE!!! And so cool! Her picture is actually edible! It was marble cake- white, chocolate and strawberry! Yum-o!!!!

This salad was very tasty as well. Mom just put somethings together... lettuce, spinach, strawberries, mixed sweet nuts, and poppy seed dressing! Very fresh and tasty!

Fruit and dip

I am annoyed at my picture skills today... mom did these cute sandwiches... she took bread and used a cookie cutter and cut little baby buggies out of the bread. I totally didn't get a picture of them.... grrrr!!! She had ham salad and chicken salad. They were ADORABLE! Hopefully she has one left and can take a picture of it for me. They were too cute!!!

A few of the guests and part of the party! I'd love to put everyone's pic on here to remember everything, but it would take forever and I'm sure I'd end up leaving someone out.

Kasie was even dressed in her pretty pink dress! She wasn't sure what to think! She knew something was up the whole time they were getting ready. She was pretty good considering all the chaos and company that invaded her house today. :)

We actually got to hold Allie some too... :) Not much- but a little! ;-P

She was done with being held by the end of the evening. She wanted to just lay and kick her little legs and move her little armies. :) She's so precious!
