Christmas Eve Family Gathering

 We came home from Gramps and Grammie's house and put out a piece of Jesus' birthday cake for Santa, a glass of milk, and some carrots for his reindeer. :)

Then, she hit the sack- dreaming of sugar plums.... or something. :) 

Christmas Tree Pictures

I love taking pictures of her by the tree when the room is dark and the lights of the tree are shining. I took one when she was a newborn that I adored- and have done one similar every year since. :)

Advent Calendar

Allie has an advent calendar that we try to remember to do each day. ;)  She loves to see what surprise animal or person she gets to add to her Nativity scene every day. :) 

Awana Crafts in December

The whole month of December, the cubbies at AWANA have made their own nativities! It is so neat! They have gotten to paint their pieces. The first year they are cubbies they get Mary, Joseph, Jesus and their Stables. The second and third year, they get other pieces to go with their stable. Wisemen, sheep, cows, etc.     I have loved watching them paint their nativities. They are all so quiet as they work hard to make them "perfect".  It is so precious!  They have also had a puppet show and stories about Jesus' birth.   This week was the Birthday Party for Jesus!!! They got to take their nativities home too. :)

Cookie Day at Home

I decided to make cookies at home too. We made Gingersnaps dipped in White Chocolate. YUM! And a half batch of cut outs. 

 Yes- Allie put her pants on backwards. :) Love that little girl! :)

 This was after the cutouts were all made- she had a little dough ball to play with. Gracie was curious. Trust me when I say that Gracie wasn't that close to the cookies!
