First Snow and Hot Cocoa!

We got to enjoy the snow finally! :) It was the first time this year we were able to go out and play due to various reasons. :) It was Braedan's first time in the snow ever! :) Fun! :)

He had some on his glove and tried to eat it. ;) He made a funny face every time he put it in his mouth! :)

We had our first snowfall of the season. It was pretty! These pictures are kind of neat because they were taken at midnight the night of the storm, without the flash. We thought it was neat how much light was reflecting off of the snow. It was as bright as 6 am! :) So cool!

These are of the next day when we went out to play! :) Allie helped to build her first ever snowman! :) So cool! :) We used the kit she got from Nana and Papa at last Christmas for the parts of the snowman. :) Gracie had a blast too! :)

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Allie girl was SOOOoooo excited when it snowed. She kept running to the window and begging us to come look at it all! :) She wanted to go out and play in it, but Friday (the first day) was waaayyy too cold and windy to take her out. So- I brought it in to her! :) I filled an empty butter container several times (as it melted and she played with it) and let her play with it at the kitchen sink. She filled a cup and got a spoon and ate it. :) Silly girl. Then she poured water on it. She was having a ball! :)

Then, on Saturday, we bundled her up really good and took her out for a little bit. It was still cold, but it wasn't as windy. We pulled her around in the sled, played frisbee with Gracie, made snow angels, threw snow, tried to make a snowman (it wasn't packing snow- unfortunately) and just had some fun! :) She had a melt down before we went out- about her snow pants being too big- and then when we got out- she was upset because it was so bright- (hence the crying picture below) but then she was happy and had a ball, and didn't want to come in. We made her come in because her little cheeks were SOOoo red. She'd have stayed out longer if we'd have let her! :)
