On Friday evening, we went to the festival. It was a lot of fun. Daddy was able to join us this time. We ate some yummy festival food- strombolis and fries and apple fritters. :) YUM!
It was great to run into friends whom we don't get to see very often and introduce them to Allie. We met up with Uncle J and Auntie S and Uncle J and Auntie A and Couzin K. It was awesome because we met them in the middle of one of the main roads of the festival and we ended up standing and talking to each other. As we stood there, it was awesome to have people come up to us and meet Allie and also cousin K. One of the things during our infertility that was hard was when we would go to this festival we'd see friends who we went to school with. They were all pushing their strollers and toting their little ones around. It was hard for me to want children so badly and not be able to have them and not be able to share this experience with our children too. So it was amazing to be able to walk around the festival and have Allie with us. It was fun to see people who don't know much about our story and for them to ask "Is that your little one?" and for us to FINALLY be able to say "Yes! :) "
