Date Day!

A couple of weekends Mommy and Daddy went on a Date Day. We got Free Ohio State Buckeye tickets and made a day of the game! We had a great time. We redeemed a couple of O.live G@rden gift cards we had and scored a free meal before heading to the game. It was delish!!!!
This was Mommy's first Buckeye game ever.  It was AMAZING! The atmosphere was so much fun!!!
We just happened to be at the right place at the right time.... we were searching for restrooms, and happened to hear some police officers telling people to get back. Pretty soon the cheerleaders came through-followed by the players. They were all dressed up in their suits and ties. They all had headphones on and paraded through to the arena. It was pretty neat.

They went into this building and we realized that this is where the skull session was happening. We followed some people to the already in progress session. It was neat as well. The atmosphere was the biggest thing
We climbed up to the nosebleed section....We probably wouldn't have had to, but there were tons of people and it was a neat view of everything.

We left the skull session a little early because we wanted to walk around some before finding our seats. There were tail gaters EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! They were on all of the levels of several parking garages...in tents and vans and such all through out the whole area of the stadium. It was amazing!!!!!!! Everyone had on red shirts everywhere you look!!!

We weren't sure what the weather was going to do...we packed rain stuff, and had sweatshirts and long sleeves... we could have gotten by with just our t-shirts... it was a beautiful day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We waited around hoping to see the team all head to the stadium. I think we JUST missed them. If we had waited a little bit longer, I think we would have been right where they were. We went to find our seats and looked out one of the windows on the way up.... more tailgating! :)

This is the view from our seats... we had great seats. We could see EVERYTHING! There was a "tunnel" entryway right in front of us, so we even had plenty of leg room and no one was crawling over us to get to the aisle. It was perfect!!!!

 The new head coach!

Ready to head on the field...... this was neat to watch....

The marching band coming on the field. This was also neat to watch.....

The soliders with the flag. It was fun to watch them raise it. These men also did push ups after every touchdown. The number of push ups depended on the score...:)
There were two police officers on the flag stands. They were there the whole time. It was neat because during the national anthem, they stood at full salute. I snuck a picture.

We had so much fun! :)

Allie girl got to spend the day at Gramps and Grammies house... from what we heard she had a blast as well! :)
