Allie's First Hair Cut!

We've trimmed Allie's bangs before, but have never cut length off of her hair.  She is 37 months old and it is SO long! :)  It is beautiful! It has this natural curl that does these beautiful ringlets of curls- especially if it hasn't been washed that day. It was getting trickier and trickier to comb through without her crying about the tangles. I really didn't want to cut it because I love the length and the curls. It was getting SO SO long though.  I finally made an appointment and had it trimmed. :) She cut about three inches off of the length. It looks so much healthier and is still curly. :) Allie did SO good. She just sat there like a little statue. :) So precious. :) At the end, Janie put "fairy dust" in her hair. She thought that was the best! :) Such a neat idea. ;) Enjoy the pictures... :)

 During the cut..... you can tell, Allie isn't quite sure what to think.... :) 

 You can kind of tell there is fairy dust- it sparkles... :) She put it in piggy tails....

It is perfect. She didn't cut too much off, and it looks healthier and not so stringy. :) And it doesn't get in the way as much anymore. :)   If you want to see the flashback post when she had her first bang trim it is HERE. :)
