A Few Firsts

Well, we survived Mommy's first week back to work. It went well. I am glad that today is Saturday and I can play catch up and regroup for next week. We've enjoyed spending all day with Allie too!!!!!!!!! :)

Monday was the hardest day by far, but it didn't go badly at all. It really helped that I could text Nana or Grammie all week to see how she was doing. Allisynn was a gem. She did beautifully all week. She seemed to stay on schedule each day!!! Whoo- hoo! :)

She also started sleeping through the night! Double Whoo-hoo! She slept through on Saturday night and we were impressed. She had done this a couple times off and on. We weren't expecting her to continue sleeping all night this whole week!!! She did though!!! :) Yay Allie girl!!!! There was one night I got up with her at 4 am to feed her, but the rest of the week she did it!!!

Here's what a typical day looks like for us:

5:30 at the earliest- usually not till 6- Allie wakes up to eat. Daddy's alarm goes off at 5:30. Usually we hit snooze and fall back asleep. (unless Allie is awake to eat).

6:00- Allie eats her 5 or 6 ounces. She sometimes stays awake and is all happy. Looking around, giving lots of smiles and cooing. Sometimes we read a couple of books after her feeding too.

6:15ish- Daddy and mommy start getting ready- tag team style. This includes getting Gracie out and fed, starting or finishing lunch packing for us, and showers, enter etc.

7:00- if Nana is watching Allie, she comes around this time. Mommy and Daddy finish getting ready and start packing or loading up Allie.

7:20- Mommy and Daddy leave for work.

7:35 or so (if Grammie is watching Allie) Allie gets dropped off.

8:00- ish Mommy and Daddy get to work.

Allie takes a morning nap somewhere around here. Sometimes right away, sometimes not till closer to 9.

10:00- Allie has her morning bottle and plays.

11:00- Nap time for baby Allie- she sleeps for a couple hours usually at this nap!!
2:00- Feeding time again! :)

2:20- Play time

3:00- maybe another cat nap? depends

3:50- Mommy leaves work. Picks up Allie at Grammie's, or Nana's.

4:30- Daddy leaves work.

5:00- Everyone gets home. Time to unload the van, regroup and organize Allie's stuff. Clean bottles, start supper, etc.

5:45-6:00 ish- Eat and clean up the kitchen- Allie gets hungry around this time too and eats.

7:00- Finish up cleaning the kitchen or picking up around the house or doing whatever else needs done. Play with Allie.

7:30-8ish- we all relax together and enjoy Allie.

8:30ish- cat nap for Allie.

10:00- Allie eats her last bottle and plays a little and then goes to sleep for the night.

Mommy and daddy are usually right behind! :) Ready for a good sleep! :)
