Our full day in DC was spent touring the monuments and spending time together as a family. It was a neat way to show respect to grandpa...by touring the memorials for the three wars he served in. (WW2, Korea and Vietnam)
It was fun to go back and see these great monuments and remember how men like my grandfather served our country. We are so thankful!
It was also fun to take Allie around and take pictures of her with the monuments... I know she'll be back and it was fun to be able to make memories with her and have pictures to show her someday... that she was there and how little she was. :)
