Fall Fun!

We had all sorts of fall fun the last several days.  We carved Allie's pumpkin, dressed up and went to a Fall Festival. :) Allie loved every second! :)

Pumpkin Carving!
We got a pumpkin and asked her what she wanted it to be carved like this year. She said a princess. :) How do you make a pumpkin into a princess?? Good question. We weren't sure either. :) We did a fancy face with a crown. She loved it. :)

Because mommy is a teacher- we had to talk about the life cycle of a pumpkin. ;) She seemed interested and actually told it all back to me after I explained it. :) The pictures helped. :)
Ta-da! The finished product. :) Not sure it looks like a princess, but she was happy- so that's all that counts. :)

 Next up-
Dress Up!
This is the first year we have dressed up and went to the neighbors to trick or treat.  We decided to do this for a couple of reasons. The main one is she LOVES LOVES LOVES to dress up. She thought this was the neatest thing ever!  And we have made good connections with several of the neighbors on our street. They get the biggest kick out of seeing Allie ride her bike down the sidewalk. So- we figured they would love to see her dressed up too. We only went to houses that we knew were safe and people we knew. We just did a couple- and that was good enough for her. :)
Our little tink.er.bell. :)

Next we went to Awana's Fall Fest
They had all sorts of little kids games. Duck pond, plin.ko, bouncy house, golf, ring toss, etc. She loved it!!!!

One of her cute little friends :) Couldn't get them to look at the camera together for anything- but they are three. :)

Skin art... she got three little pumpkins. :)
She decorated (and iced) this cookie. :) It was HUGE! :) Mommy and daddy helped her eat it. :) She was on a sugar high! :) That was the only sugary treat she ate all night. But it was PLENTY! :)
What a fun age! :) She didn't stop smiling all evening!!! :) And she didn't want to take her dress up clothes off to put on her pajamas. :)  It was also the first thing she put on this morning! :) I love her! :)

Very cute guys!!! It is so much fun to take them trick or treating! We just go through our neighborhood and it is plenty! FYI, you can get pumpkin cut-outs online. We did tinkerbell last year for Olivia.
