Ten Months Old!

Allie is ten months old already! She is changing so much lately! Let's see if we can run through all the things she can do! :)

She is saying more sounds and word attempts. She says ba-bah! Usually for her bottle, but also for da-da! :) Sometimes she gets the d sound but not very often. NO attempt at ma-ma yet. I'm also ba-bah! :) That's ok. :)

*She says go!

*She says Good Girl! :) It is amazing that she says this! Family has heard it, so we aren't imagining it! :) It comes out like guh-grl. It is definitely distinguishable. :) She thinks that this is Gracie's name.... we say this a lot to Gracie when Allie is near her and playing with her. But, she also says it when she does something good. Like tonight at supper. She finished a container of Green beans and said "Good girl!" :) She also says the good separately sometimes. She also said at supper after I opened her second container and gave her the first bite, "good!" It is amazing! :)

She knows the sounds that doggies make and will tell you. She also is doing the cow sound ( Bruhhhhhhhh... bruhhh) :) Pretty cute! :)

She also empties contents of everything! :) Especially laundry baskets, toy baskets (the dishwasher if we would let her.... hummmm!!! Nah!) :) (watch for a video coming soon- hopefully! :)

She has three teeth! Two on top and one on the bottom. She is working on more!

She waves consistently now. We're working on blowing kisses.

She has basically grown out of her walker. Her little feet drag along and at times, seems as if she could potentially tip the whole thing if we weren't watching.

Scales the outside of her pack and play trying to get in. Also scales the inside trying to get out. :) Hasn't climbed all the way in or out, but can defiantly pull herself up higher than 10 month olds should! We're in trouble if she can't go in her pack and play! :) She'll pull herself up about a foot off of the floor when on the outside trying to get in.

Takes two good naps during the day. (in her pack and play). She will put herself to sleep. She plays with her little toys- so quiet and then eventually curls up with them and falls asleep. :)

She knows how to knock. Not always in the appropriate place (like the dog :) ) but she knocks on the windows when we are looking outside. :)

Had her first hair trim. Her front bangs were a little long, so Nana trimmed them up! :)

Doesn't really like to be rocked much anymore. Seems uncomfortable on us when she tries to go to sleep. We are battling this part. She doesn't like to be in her crib alone to go to sleep, but also doesn't really like to be in our arms.

Shakes her head no sometimes. (Sometimes in the appropriate situations.) She also mimics us when we do it to her. :)

Says blah! blah! when something is yucky- after we do the same. We'll say no, yucky, Blah! and she'll shake her head and go blah! blah! and either keep licking what she shouldn't or give it to you willingly. :)

Mimics a lot of our sounds- as if she is trying to say what we are. ;)

Wearing 9 month clothes- and some 12 month clothes. Still in size 3 diapers.

She eats a whole Gerber 2 fruit with her cereal for breakfast, two twos for lunch and two twos for supper. :) She still likes the crunchies and has also tried the biter biscuits- but also has learned that if she drops them on the ground, Gracie eats them. :) A new trick! :) We also give her saltine crackers without the salted tops. :) She LOVES these! :)

Tries to do patty cake on her own now! :) She is trying to do the roll it and pat it part. It is funny to watch. :)

She knows what a phone is and does. She gets excited when we call nana and papa. Also found a calculator and puts it to her ear like she is going to talk on it! :)
