8 Months Old!

Little B is 8 months old already! Where is time escaping to?! He is really starting to show us his personality lately! :) He isn't the quiet/ sleep all the time baby he was for the first 5-6 months of his little life! :)  He can be really loud and wild... :) 

 He has started talking... the clearest things he says are momma and dadda. :) He will also say ba-ba for his bottle, and uh-o- even though the uh- sounds like a couple little coughs. ha! :) Silly boy.  He also shakes his head no- and knows what it means and uses it appropriately.  For instance, I was feeding him his supper one evening and we tried something new... broccoli, carrots and cheese in a jar.  He was NOT impressed AT ALL! He made a couple yucky faces and then every time I put the spoon to his mouth he shook his head no-no-no! :) Ha!

For some reason, sleep has become more challenging for Brady... I don't know what it is exactly- I do know that he is NOSEY as all get out! :) He was waking ever hour for the first four or five hours I'd lay him down each night.  Now we are out of that, and up at 4 or 5- just wide awake for a while. If I catch him at the very beginning of this- I can lull him back to sleep really quickly- IF I put him in bed with us (hey... momma's gotta sleep sometime!) Other times, we are up and try a bottle, and snuggles and awake stares for an hour or so.  

Brady is a very happy baby. He LOVES his sissy! :) He gets all excited when she comes in his room in the morning, he will start clapping and waving his hands up and down.  He studies her and loves to react to her. :)  (She adores him equally!)  He also claps and gets super excited when Daddy comes home each day from work! :) It is precious to watch! :)  He also loves to see family members like Nana and Papa and Gramps and Grammie and cousins when we first get there too. :) 

For my records- He is wearing 12 month pants (for the length- they don't fit so well around his waist always- but 9 month mostly are too short).  He wears 9 month shirts and still can wear some 6 month shirts and onesies.  Pj's are 12 months.  He eats two baby food containers a day... usually a fruit or cereal and a veggie.  He drinks 5 six ounce bottles.  He goes down for the night around 9:30 and wakes for good around 8 or 8:30.  He still only has 2 teeth.  He has had three hair cuts already.  He has started puffs snacks (broken into tiny pieces) and loves them.  

He is a happy baby and very laid back and easy going. ;) Not much makes him upset. He loves to cuddle and snuggle.  He is super close to crawling... he gets up on all fours and rocks and has "lunged" forward on his belly a few times.  It won't be long.  In the mean time, he is proficient at rolling where he wants to go. :) He changes directions easily and gets to whatever it is he sees that he wants.
