On Saturday we worked outside. It was a major clean up around the house day. We weeded (our least favorite chore by far!) and cut back the flowers for fall... and then got into more serious clean up. :) We pulled some bushes that we've wanted to pull for a LLOOOOOOOONG time! It looks kind of empty and much cleaner. We want to put new things in the spring but we aren't quite sure yet what. Any suggestions?? :)
We had one neighbor drive by and ask if we were pulling out the house next. Ha! While it looks rather bare- especially since we took the tree down in the spring, we aren't done yet... :) It doesn't look so overgrown and unkept now. The curb appeal will come back.... just be patient. :)

Get some knock out roses!!! Even I (with my very limited green thumb) get beautiful blooms all spring/summer long!
