Incrediworld!

Vacation bible school this year was the theme of an Amusement Park. God's incredi-world!  It was AMAZING how well things were decorated and organized! SO much fun! I helped in Allie's class. Since she isn't four for a couple more weeks, she had Alex in her class- as well as a few other three year olds and a couple two year olds since their class was so big. The class was adorable- and challenging- but so much fun! :)   

We started on Sunday and finished last night. Each night was full of singing new songs, learning motions, worshiping, and then going to class to learn a bible story, and then down to craft time, out to play, in for snack and wrapping up, and then back down for singing  to close out the evening. I LOVE that Allie gets to experience bible school- like momma and daddy did growing up! I wish our church offered it- but this is the next best thing~! :) So thankful for all of the hard work and effort that the VVCC put forth! It was amazing! The WOW factor was all over as the decorations were out of this world amazing!!!! The kids all had fun, and it was a great week! :)

 The red and green on the stage are the shoeboxes that the kids packed for Operation.Christmas.Child. It was sooooo neat. Each night- they had something you were supposed to bring in. One night it was wash cloths and soap, and toothbrushes and toothpaste, and another night it was small toys, school supplies, and another night it was candy. They gathered everything each night and announced a winning class. Then on the last night- they had everything organized in the craft area... All of the things the kids made during the week- (they made two... one for them, one for another little girl or boy) and all the things they brought in... Then they made an assembly line and packed a shoe box for another child. It was SO PRECIOUS to see these litttle ones packing a box full of love and goodies for another child over in the other side of the world! We included a class picture and a little note, and then prayed over the boxes. SO PRECIOUS! I love it!!! It was neat to see them understanding that the boxes are for other little boys and girls who don't get many presents and who don't have much. After explaining it- they got it! They didn't ask to keep the toys or the boxes or anything... they didn't throw fits- they didn't beg... they understood (as much as you can at two and three) that they were for someone else! :) I love it!!!! :)
