We recently went on a family vacation... the next several posts are dedicated to journaling about the trip. :)
Allie was so excited about going. She kept asking when we were leaving and if it was time yet. (This was about thirty days before the trip even came to be! :)) So I decided to make a paper chain to help her see the time come closer and closer. Here are some pictures of the last few days before we left. :) She got so excited when it was little! :)

Allie's stash of "Keep me occupied" presents. I started collecting little trinkets to keep her occupied for a couple weeks before we left.... little things from a kalidascope, bottles for her baby, a new outfit for her baby, books, cheap Curious Ge0rge movie from the reduced bin, a small cheap toy helicopter (because she saw life flight near our house twice in a week and talked about it non-stop for a million days! :)) etc. She LOVED opening a gift every once in a while when she got a little antsy. She did so good traveling. I wasn't sure how it would go since she is totally potty trained, but she did great. She didn't have any accidents, and we didn't have to stop that much extra at all! We were proud of her!
