Pumpkin! Pumpkin!

On Saturday we got a pumpkin and carved it. It was a fun science lesson for Allie. We let her help scoop out the seeds and pulp. :) She wasn't sure at first, but warmed up to sticking her hand inside and looking for seeds. I was going to roast the seeds and was so excited to eat them, but ended up burning them because I mis-read the directions. :( Duh! I was VERY disappointed! :(
Allie loved helping make her pumpkin. We don't celebrate Halloween- but enjoyed playing with the pumpkin. :)  We carved it into a puppy for her. Not the best job, my knife was the wrong kind. It was still lots of fun though! :) She loves it! :)
