Five Years Old!

Our Allie girl turned five on the 12th (Told you I was way behind in my blogging...:()  She is amazing!
She wanted a Sofia party. Sofia is the new princess from Dis.ney.  We don't watch all of the episodes but a few that mommy says are ok. :)

Here are some of her loves and things she does now:

Her favorite tv show is still Doc although she likes Mickey still and Sofia.
She loves to draw and write and make little notes and cards for her cousins. :)
She loves to dress up- in her dress up clothes or in my clothes, or anything girly she can find. :) She is all about necklaces, rings, bracelets and said she wanted her ears pierced but then decided it wasn't going to happen because it was involving pain. :)
She loves watermelon, cantalope and would eat a whole of both if I'd let her. :)
She still is a huge cucumber fan- and eats a whole one in a setting. :)
She loves to play outside on her play set and ride her bike. She just learned how to ride her bike without training wheels and thinks she is big stuff. :)
She loves to be read to and likes to pretend to read herself sometimes ;)
Can rhyme words very well.
She is very strong willed and has a hard time letting go of what SHE wants to do sometimes.
Is too young for Kindergarten... but momma's ok with that. :) (Allie would rather go... but rules are rules...:))
ADORES her little brother! :)
Can write all of her letters and knows their sounds (mostly).
Can count to 100 with minimal help. :) (She gets stuck at the tens.)
Loves to sing Jesus songs. :)
Loves to listen to her Bible on CD.
Loves going to her class at church- and loves AWANA and bible school. : )
Likes to help momma get supper ready- and set the table. :)
Loves to help me bake goodies for Daddy.
Likes to play the Ipad.
Has an amazing imagination and still has her imaginary friends. :)
Holds conversations with herself where she will ask a question and answer herself... this is when she is playing with her imaginary friends. :) It is pretty cute! :)
Loves being independent. :)
Can swim by herself.
Does little chores- like taking her plate and cup and silverware to the sink, making her bed, brushing her teeth, putting away her dirty clothes, helping me put away her clean clothes and cleaning her toy room and bedroom (with help).
Loves to make up her own songs and sing all the time.
Loves to talk to herself and look at herself in the mirror or any type of reflection she can see of herself.
Gets shy (very rarely) when we meet new people that mommy or daddy know.
Loves to play at the playground.
Is active from the minute she wakes up until we say it is time for bed. :)
Loves playing with her cousins and visiting her grandparents. :)

She will have her five year check up in a couple weeks so I'll know what her height and weight are. ;)

We are so blessed to have this amazing, full of life, active, spunky, beautiful little girl in our lives. :) We are so thankful God chose us to be together and for eachother. :)  We are blessed to be her parents and tell her often that we are so glad she is our Allie girl. :)
