ONE year OLD!

This ornery little boy is already ONE! What a sweet year it has been!!! We are so blessed to have been given such beautiful, healthy, amazing blessings!!!! God is good!! 

Here are some little updates for what Braedan is up to... so I remember later. :) 

He loves to explore and open cupboards, drawers and get into bags. 

He crawls around super fast.  He has taken three steps here and there but doesn't have much interest in it. 

He loves to play with his toys. He will sit contently pushing buttons, dancing to music and exploring his pile of toys for quite awhile.  He also loves to play with his sister. They are good playmates and play quite nicely together. 

He can say between 15-20 words. (Daddy, momma, Allie, Papa, Nana, El-mo, up, uh-o, ba-p (Bath), juice, all done, mm-men (amen), bah-bah (Beep beep) puppy, no, *Tries to say "O-H-I-O" and tries to say truck. Says row-row when he wants you to sing Row row your boat. 

He knows where his eyes and nose are and can point to them on someone else (not as good at his own yet).   

Non-verbally he says bye-bye, sorry (sign language) and uses it appropriately), hi, come, 1 year old, no-no

 He loves bath time and kicks and splashes and has a big old time. :) He splashes quite well!!!
He sleeps sometimes twice a day- but usually just one big nap in the afternoon.  
He takes 4 bottles between 7 and 8 ounces a day.
He eats table food- but is kind of picky and will put it in his mouth and promptly spit it back out after he does if he doesn't like it. (Texture? :))

He loves to be tickled under his neck and will giggle and wiggle all around. 

He loves and recognizes "This little piggy, Row, Row Row your Boat, Five little monkeys jumping on the bed,  Jesus Loves Me, There was a dog named B-I-N-G-O, and a few others I can't remember. 

 Loves to be read to... he will crawl over when I am reading to Allie and listen to the story too.
Loves music and to dance to it.
Pushes the buttons on his toys with one precise little finger.

 Loves to carry around a toy in his one hand... a hammer, a doctor toy, a spoon... something that is easy to hold on to and crawl with. :)

He will crawl around with things in his mouth sometimes too- like a ball or a wash rag/ burp cloth... silly boy. :)

Loves Apple Juice and drinks well from a sippy cup.
He has this cute little shy personality when he is around people, but with us he is a little wild man. :) He babbles and crawls around and makes himself known  what he wants known. :)

 He wears size 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers.  (Could be ready to switch to fours but haven't yet because the 3's still fit ok.)
Knows what we mean when we ask a few questions- like- Do you want your bottle? Are you hungry? Are you all done? Do you want more? Do you want a bath? Where's Gracie? Where's Allie?

IS ONE YEAR old and can tell you when you ask him. :)  <3
