Here in our house we do a whole lot of teaching about the real meaning of Christmas. Allie knows the Christmas story inside and out. We make a Birthday Cake for Jesus and share it with Santa on Christmas eve. We also do a little bit of Santa. She won't sit on his lap or even go near him at the mall or anywhere like that. We don't see any harm in having a little fun with Santa or the "magical" fairy tale that comes with him.
