A Saturday Afternoon!

On Saturday afternoon, we went to the park. It was so much fun. Allie is at the perfect age to really enjoy things and be in such wonder. We began our day by feeding the ducks some bread. Allie loved this!

We found a mama duck and her babies. So cute!

After we ate some lunch with Nana, Papa, Auntie D and daddy and mommy,
Then we went to one of the playgrounds and played.

Not too sure of this slide...

Loved doing things on her own and being as she says a "big gurl!"
It was hot, but she still had a blast! It didn't seem to slow her down too much!

We had free wrist bands to ride rides.  (Nana's company picnic day!)
Everyone rode (papa took pictures). You can't see Allie, but she is sitting by daddy. She's so little.
The poor lady I rode with was nice enough to let me sit by her, so we could all be together. We were packed
in the cars... I think they are made for kids and not two adults sitting side by side. :)
We rode and rode and rode the train! Allie just sat there with wonder and amazement. Her eyes were SO big!!! She seemed to be taking the whole experience in as best she could. She didn't say much!
However, she hasn't stopped talking about this whole day all week... it is too cute!
We tried the merry-go-round, and Allie would tell you, it didn't go so well. She makes her noise for horses, and shakes her head no at the same time... then says, "Papa carry you!" All this to mean, she didn't want to ride and ended up having to go watch with papa. I think she was bothered that she couldn't ride, because when she talks about the park, she always starts by doing the above. I keep telling her it is ok and we still had fun. It is amazing what all she remembers!
She looks like she is concentrating hard.... :) She LOVED the swings. We swang forever!!!!
Even Nana, Auntie D and Mommy took turns swinging too! :)

We found another play ground to play on.  There was this rolly slide. I wasn't sure if Allie would like it, so we went down a couple times with her on my lap. Then, she found this little friend. It was ADORABLE! They would go down time after time after time- holding hands and waiting on each other to get to the top again and sit down. It was the most precious thing! Their faces were PURE JOY as they went down each time- with smiles clear across their two cute faces!!! :)

We played on another playground and did some slides- she actually went down a couple big ones (even an enclosed tube one) all by herself!
Then we went back to the ducks and fed them the rest of our bread.

She tried to eat some of the bread too! :)
SO cute! :) I love this picture with Auntie D!
She LOVES sunglasses!

We had one more play on the playground and had a balloon doggie made, and ate some "pink" ice cream before we were too pooped to party anymore! :) She was worn out!!!!
We came home, took a bath and pretty much put her in bed! She slept good!!! :)
Thanks for inviting us and spending the day with us Nana! (And papa, Auntie D and Uncle J!)
